Oklahoma National Guard Museum

The Oklahoma National Guard Museum, formerly known as the 45th Infantry Division Museum, showcases military history from the Revolutionary War to present-day conflicts, including the War on Terror. Key highlights include an impressive collection of American military weapons, original World War II-era cartoons by Pulitzer Prize-winner Bill Mauldin, and a 15-acre park featuring tanks, aircraft, and the Thunderbird Monument honoring service members from World War II, Korea, and the Oklahoma National Guard.

The museum is undergoing a transformation, with plans to expand its focus to the broader history of the Oklahoma Air and Army National Guard, from pre-statehood to modern times. New interactive displays and existing artifacts from the 45th Infantry Division will enhance the visitor experience.

The current facility at 2145 NE 36th Street in Oklahoma City remains open while a new museum building is developed.
